Kindergarten Ice Fishing Winter Excursion!

On March 9th our kindergarten class was fortunate to go on an ice fishing field trip! We had so much help to make this adventure happen!! Thank you to the moms, dads, grandpas and uncles that came to cut holes, bring gear and bait hooks! We were able to spend an hour out on Pigeon Lake fishing. When the wind picked up we headed back to shore for lunch! For lunch we enjoyed delicious barbecued hotdogs, deep fried potato chips, hot chocolate and fresh Drayton Valley bakery donuts, all generously  provided by KPA Pressure Services. Thank you to Brent Lee for bringing and cooking our lunch!  We would also like to thank Thorsby & District Fish and Game Association for their support!

Our class spend the rest of our winter excursion exploring and playing in the snow. No fish were caught, but the students had an amazing experience!
