WS Grad Brings Computer Engineering Career Highlights to Students
Warburg School staff and students were privileged to have Emma Rapati stop by during a visit to her parents at Warburg from her home in California. A graduate of W.S. in 2006, as well as an alumni on our Wall of Fame, Emma provided our students with an interesting insight into her life as a Google Software Engineer. Beginning from her journey as a Warburg School graduate who participated in the WISEST program at UAlberta during her summer holidays, to a University of Toronto engineering student achieving her Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science-with a major in Computer Engineering, Emma had a goal to live in California with a career in Computer Engineering. After working briefly at another company, Emma accepted a Computer Engineering position at Google in 2011. From that position Emma has moved within the company to positions that have interested her and she is now a team leader in software development.
