Bamfield Marine Science Centre Fundraiser – Spring 2026

Twenty Warburg School students are actively fundraising for their upcoming Spring 2026 trip to the Bamfield Marine Science Centre on Vancouver Island, accompanied by WS teacher Ian Drysdale. The Bamfield Marine Science Centre hosts high school students year-round, offering hands-on learning in biology, chemistry, and physical sciences.

During the four day trip, students will spend significant time outdoors, engaging in a unique and immersive educational experience. Past WS students who attended BMSC under Mr. Drysdale's leadership often describe it as one of their favourite high school memories.

Their first fundraiser took place on May 3rd with a Highway 39 cleanup. The students collected litter from ditches along a 10-kilometre stretch, raising funds toward this exciting educational opportunity.
