  • Christmas Angel Tree 2018: 15 years of Giving from Warburg School Families

Posted on    Posted in Parent Information, Special Event days

Fifteen years ago our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Fritz, began the Christmas Angel Tree tradition at Warburg School by reading a story from the Chicken Soup for the Soul Christmas Virtues book.  The Easter Egg Christmas  story was read by Mrs. Fritz every year during the December elementary assembly to set in motion our wonderful Warburg School generosity and helpfulness toward others in our community with the Christmas Angel Tree.   The Angel Tree has paper angel tags which students choose to attach to an unwrapped gift for a child of the appropriate age for their gift.  Our local agency pick up the gifts to distribute to community families in need and then to the Salvation Army for delivery to children in other areas.

Thank you, Mrs. Fritz for this wonderful Christmas tradition!

Christmas Angel Tree will help many children in our community and area enjoy a Christmas gift this year.
Mrs. Fritz and S.R.O. Constable Young pack up the donations for pick up by agencies to assist families at Christmas
