February 26th is PINK SHIRT DAY.
What is Pink Shirt Day?
Pink Shirt Day originated in Nova Scotia in 2007 when two students decided to take a stand against bullying after witnessing a male grade 9 student be teased for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of class. The students purchased and distributed 50 pink shirts for all the boys in their school. Pink Shirt Day is now a national movement to raise awareness around the issue of bullying in schools.
Buying from our entripy shops help support Warburg School…and when you order this particular t-shirt you also help the CKNW Kids Fund, as 10% of the proceeds from the Pink Shirt orders are donated to this anti-bullying program. Win-Win!
